Tradeshow “Nerdvana”!

It probably won’t come as a surprise that an astronaut-turned-drone-company-CEO self-identifies as a Nerd. As a result, walking the trade show floor at XPONENTIAL was truly nerdvana! Many of the latest and greatest innovations in unmanned vehicle systems and their supporting ecosystems were proudly on display, minus one (but I’ll get to that later). I remarked to my friend and former NASA colleague Romeo Durscher (now leading public safety aviation at DJI) that it’s an incredible time to be alive and working in technology, with so many multipliers taking root. Advances in flight control, sensor technology, energy storage and AI are enabling capabilities that couldn’t have even been imagined even just 10 years ago. We at Fluidity Technologies really love what we do, and we’re so excited to begin our first shipments of our FT Aviator drone controller this quarter. We’ve got so much more up our sleeves for the future!
Fluidity Technologies Recognized

I’d really hoped to be in Chicago to personally receive the AUVSI Excellence Award (we’re so proud and humbled to be recognized as 1st Place Winner for Safety Solutions) on Tuesday. However, operations have kept us so busy that I was only able to spend one day on the expo floor, reconnecting with old friends and making many new contacts. What’s clear is that our increasingly complex world has ever greater needs for precise control in 3-dimensional space, from drones to air taxis, and from simulators to virtual and augmented reality. While we didn’t have the time or resources to host a booth this year, you can be sure that Fluidity Technologies will be on display in Boston at XPONENTIAL 2020!
Onward and Upward,
Scott
