Founder & CEO
Dr. Scott Parazynski is a highly-decorated and broadly-experienced U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame astronaut, physician, pilot, and technology entrepreneur. He founded Fluidity Technologies to focus on the development of revolutionary input devices powered by machine learning to intuitively move through physical and virtual space.
He worked as a NASA astronaut for nearly 17 years, completing 5 shuttle missions, spending over eight weeks in space and 47 hours on spacewalks. Scott has an extensive innovation portfolio, including medical devices, consumer products and gear developed for extreme environments, and is involved in a variety of technology start-ups and other entrepreneurial ventures based on his intellectual property. He also serves on several corporate and not-for-profit Boards of Directors.
Scott has lived and traveled all over the world, spending many of his grade school years in places such as Senegal, Lebanon, Iran and Greece. A lifelong explorer, he is also the first person to have both flown in space and summited Mt. Everest. In addition, he’s rappelled to the “shoreline” of Masaya volcano’s lava lake, and free dived into the summit caldera lake atop Licancabur, one of the world’s highest.
A graduate of Stanford University and Medical School, he went on to train at Harvard and in Denver for a career in emergency medicine and trauma. As an author and speaker, he has delivered keynotes and lectures all over the world and has numerous publications in the field of space physiology, with expertise in human adaptation to stressful environments.
Co-Founder & COO
George brings more than 20 years of extensive and diverse experience delivering cost-effective financial, operational, technology, and human resource solutions. He has significant experience leading strategic transformation and integration initiatives in companies ranging from $10 million to $2 billion in annual revenues.
Prior to joining Fluidity, George served as a CFO Partner at a boutique firm, providing advisory services in finance, accounting, and operational strategy to small-mid cap clients. He has also served in various senior level roles with public and private companies, including CFO of an engineering services company and chief accounting officer of an oilfield services start-up company, as well as serving fortune 1000 clients and private clients at a big four firm. George has worked with companies in various industries, including, manufacturing, oil field services, upstream oil and gas, midstream oil and gas, food processing, real estate, health services, industrial products, construction, engineering services, and not-for-profit.
George received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Texas-Pan American and his Master of Business Administration from Rice University.
VP of Marketing
For more than 20 years, Carolyn has led innovative marketing initiatives for a range of companies– from established brands to technology start-ups. With a passion for building collaborative and impactful teams, Carolyn has successfully partnered with leadership in the food and beverage, retail, consumer electronics, and technology industries to help transform brands, launch new products and achieve business goals.
She previously led brand and marketing efforts for consumer electronics manufacturer Optoma Technology to grow and support its projector and NuForce audio businesses and introduced more than 80 products during her tenure. Carolyn spent more than a decade at Texas Instruments, working in a range of leadership positions including heading the U.S. retail marketing team for DLP HDTVs and projectors. She was also part of a worldwide team that launched the largest brand campaign in the company’s history, resulting in HDTV market share growth. Her diversified background includes roles at Starbucks, Frontier Communications and Sprint, executing marketing programs and strategies.
Carolyn graduated from New Mexico State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing.
Director of External Manufacturing
Keith is a proven leader and manager, with more than 20 years of experience in global supply chain engineering and operations, delivering measurable results for multi-billion-dollar hardware and software businesses. Keith has led large cross-functional teams globally, managing budgets of $10 million and more, and has directed management of operations at the top four Tier 1 EMS providers.
He was formerly director of global product engineering and quality for Hewlett Packard Enterprise, leading a team of over 120 engineering professionals across 8 different countries. He also spent 20 years at Dell EMC working in a $12 billion global supply chain organization where he held leadership positions in manufacturing engineering, external manufacturing, and as director of strategic programs.
Keith holds certifications including Project Management Professional (PMP), Six Sigma Black Belt, Mergers and Acquisitions Integration Management, and Balanced Scorecard Strategic Planning. He earned his Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science, Global Business Management, from the University of Phoenix.
