One of the greatest rewards from bringing the FT Aviator drone controller to life is customer feedback on how it unlocks the freedom of flight. Getting to this point has not been easy. We’ve had to overcome design, engineering and manufacturing challenges, not to mention a major snafu with our FedEx fulfillment center.
That said, our U.S. preorders will all be fulfilled in the next few weeks and – despite a beyond anticipated demand that led to an early sellout – we should be in stock in the next 3-4 weeks. We are also nearing completion of subtle design modifications to allow for CE certification testing and international shipments. We know the wait has been long, but as our early customers will tell you, it’s been worth it.
Fluidity’s pioneer pilots range from professional drone cinematographers to Fire Chiefs, and from stroke patients with limited use of one arm, to 9-year-old kids who can now share the coolest hobby in the sky with their parents.
The drone community is tech savvy and creative, so it’s been fascinating to see the many ways in which FT Aviator owners are forging novel ways to use their controllers and set up their displays.
